I'm not going to lie. When I first opened my email and saw this:
I was sure that my account was being phished. I mean, really. Alpha is usually reserved for top streamers, people established in the game review business, or the friends and family of Blizzard employees. Your random Kim doesn't normally make the radar for invites. And yet.
The first thing I did was exactly what the email said to do, and it didn't even require me handing over my email, password, credit card information, home address, or first-born. All I had to do was open up my Battle.Net desktop app, and look for the invite.
After that it was just a matter of allowing it to download long enough to become playable - which it has. So you lovely people, that's what I'm going to be doing for the next little while. I know this post was short because! Hey! New thing to play! But I will leave you with a few screenshots. Enjoy!
And please excuse the fact that my spells are all over the place - I was more interested in exploring than setting up. ;) I'll be more organized next time I grab screenshots for you all. See all you alligators later!
