So after having finished DA:O-A several times I can say that though I did enjoy it, I didn't really feel like I was playing something related to the original game. The characters were unfamiliar and while they were interesting, I missed my old friends. The expansion doesn't offer as much character background on your companions (which is normal, since I only got about 25 hours of gameplay per character out of it) and when you get to the end you really do have a "that's it?" feeling about the whole thing. I'm not going to go into depth - I will simply say that though I enjoyed the game, I almost wish that the time spent developing this expansion had been put into something more substantial that would really meet the high standards set by the original Dragon Age.
