WE ARE IN BETA!
So you will all be happy to know that Blizz is actually working to get all the bugs out! Yay! D. and I didn't have to /reload our UI after every quest and, actually, I don't think we ran into any bugs at all. There were a couple of funny situations where new cutscenes were just casually replaced by Thrall taking down Deathwing but... pretty sure that was intentional.
Once again I recorded part of our playtime (55min!) and once again Monosnap ate it. I'm really getting annoyed and could certainly use suggestions for better recording software going forward. Thankfully I did take some screenshots, though none during the main story quest as I thought it was being recorded. Sadness.
The game is really shaping up and I had a lot of fun. The quests are interesting and you get sent on a super secret mission that is actually pretty entertaining. It's still strange playing on horde, against people like Anduin and Jaina, but I'm enjoying the other side as well. Sylvanas has lost her marbles and, once again, pulls some pretty terrible crap in the name of winning - we even get to see her sister side against her. I'm honestly wondering how long it will be until someone overthrows her. I don't want to give too many spoilers, so I will not drop names, but one major horde player elects to stay LOCKED UP in Stormwind rather than go back to a horde under her direction. That doesn't speak well for her future at all. It's kind of sad really.
Off on a tangent here - What's also sad is that both she and Jaina are pretty badass and basically the only female leaders, and both keep going completely off their rockers. So much for strong female role-models.
Anyway. That little bit of ranting aside, I'm pretty happy with what I've seen so far. I'm looking forward to getting some more play time in, WITH VIDEO, and it will hopefully be this week. In the meantime, enjoy these screenshots. <3
